Promoter Kokiet Panichayarom has suspended former WBO Bantamweight Champ, Ratanachai Sor Vorapin for throwing a flying kick at Filipino challenger, Ramie Laput on March 28th, during a bout for the WBO Intercontinental Super Bantamweight title at Cebu Coliseum.Sor Vorapin lost his temper when he was cut by an accidental headbutt and the ref wouldn't deduct a point from Laput.
While Sor Vorapin grimaced and complained, Laput charged and started throwing punches. Enraged, Sor Vorapin threw a flying kick and was immediately disqualified.
